Uzbekistan's natural world is very diverse. There are many desert areas and snowy mountains, rivers, lakes and very dry lands. The most part of its territory lies in the Turon plain, where there are no sudden steep-drops and hills.

In this tour we will take you to the Jeyran Eco-Center situated near Bukhara which holds a large-scale campaign for the adoption of cubs of gazelle or Bukhara mountain goats that are being continually killed by poachers, under the care. Jeyran Ecocenter was established in 1997 for the purpose of the breeding and protection of rare and endangered species of animals.  The territory of this organization holds 29 species of mammals, around 250 species and subspecies of birds, more then 21 species of reptiles, 2 species of amphibians, almost 14 species of fish, and over 290 species of invertebrates.

If you are an ornithologist that loves watching birds and looking for taking a picture of rarely seen species, then Uzbekistan is one of the best spots for such activity. This is due to the wide variety of species (502) to be found here, as well as diversity of landscapes. Here is an example of an itinerary that is perfect to get acquainted with the wild life of this part of the world.
