These countries share similar habits and traditions, but you will see they do differ. This journey will set you apart from an average traveler as only few of them have done the same! You will touch legendary architecture of Uzbekistan, noble deserts of Turkmenistan, wonderful Tajikistan, breathe taking nature of Kyrgyzstan, endless steppes of Kazakhstan and many more! Starting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, you will travel throughout whole Central Asian region. This is a very light and relaxing tour, however it will be full of astonishment and historical sights, many of which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage. The journey will start in Tashkent and continue to Samarkand from where you will continue your trip to Tajikistan. After return to back to Samarkand your trip will forward to Bukhara and Turkmenistan, which one of the most closed countries in the world. Tourists are attracted to this country by ruins of beautiful cities of almost all powerful ancient Asian and Persian dynasties, endless steppes and the Great Karakum Desert, skullcaps and pilaf, Akhal-Teke horses and colorful folk weddings, famous carpets made in ancient style, the famous silk and natural melons. Crossing the border back to Uzbekistan you will be met by our professional guide, who will take to charming Khiva - a truly amazing open-air museum. From Khiva you will fly to Tashkent and later to Almaty – Kazakhstan. When your part of the trip is over is Kazakhstan you will head to Kyrgyzstan to see of the biggest mountain lakes in the world – Issyk Kul, and vibrant capital Bishkek and many more sights that reach nature of the country offers. Time Program 06:30Breakfast at hotel. 07:00Transfer for Speed train Afrosiab at 08:00 10:10Arriving Samarkand Full day sightseeing tour of Samarkand: Guri Emir- Legendary mausoleum where Amir Temur and all his family buried. Registan square- World famous complex of 3 Madrasahs and golden dome mosque. Mosque Bibi Khanum – The biggest Mosque ever built in Central Asia as gift from wife of Temerlame to her husband. Siyab local bazzar-unique place where you can get acquainted with the life of Samarkand people. Lunch time Shahi - Zinda necropolises, a holy place and cemetery with graves of Temured’s dynasty and a grave of cousin of Prophet Muhamed. Observatory of Ulugbek – incredible construction of 15 century for studying astronomy. Free time at Registan square and Local bazzar Dinner NIGHT LIFE: Light show in Registan square (if available), night view of Tamerlane’s mausoleum. -
Day 4 - Samarkand - Uzbek Tadjik Border Jartepa - Pendjikent - Samarkand
Time Program 07:30Breakfast at hotel 08:00Transfer to Uzbekistan – Tajikistan border 09:00 AM arrive to Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border Jartepa (50 km, 1 h). Customs and passport control on both sides, cross the border, meet Tajik local guide drive to Penjikent (30 km, 40 min). Sightseeing in Penjikent: Rudaki Museum, local Bazaar and mosque. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive to the ruins of ancient Penjikent located within 5 minutes drive from modern Penjikent. Penjikent was a major Sogdian city dating back to the 5th century and was destroyed by Arab conquerors in the 8th century. Late in the afternoon return to the Jartepa border. Meeting at border and transfer to Samarkand. Dinner at restaurant. -
Day 5 - Samarkand - Bukhara
Time Program 08:00Breakfast at hotel 09:00Transfer to Bukhara. Enroute visit to house-museum-workshop of Abdulla Narzullaev - Master of Ceramics of Gijguvan . Photo stops at cotton fields, cotton factory and at ancient Karavan Sarai (motel for traders) Rabat Malik, built along the Great Silk Road. Arriving to Samarkand 14:00Lunch Accommodation at hotel. Day 6 - Bukhara

Day 7 - Bukhara - Mary
Time Program 07:00Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Turkmen border. Arrival & Drive to Mary. Arrive at Uzbekistan Customs at ~09.00& go through passport control & customs procedures. Morning meeting at Farap Border Pass. Border passing & customs formalities. Drive ~4 hours to Mary. En route stop to have lunch (optional) at local restaurant in Turkmenabat. Upon arrival in Mary accommodation & rest. Dinner at local restaurant (optional). Overnight at hotel in Mary. -
Day 8 - Mary - Merv - Mary - Ashgabat
Time Program 08:00Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive ~35 min to visit Old Merv Historical Reserve (UNESCO) visiting Gyz Gala & Oglan Gala (VIAD), Complex of Askhabs (VIII-XIVAD); Gawur Gala (VIIIBC), Erk Gala (VIBC), Mausoleum of Soltan Sanjar (XIIAD), Mausoleum of Muhammed Ibn Zeyd (XII-XIIIAD). After Old Merv return back to Mary for lunch at local restaurant (optional). After lunch proceed with sightseeing in Mary visiting United Museum of Mary, Orthodox Church (XIXAD) & short walking tour in city center stopping to take photos of surrounding buildings of Main Mosque of Mary, Central Library of Mary, Kemine Theater & Ruhiyet Palace Convention Center. Late afternoon transfer to Mary Airport for flight to Ashgabat by T5-132 (19.30-20.10). Day 9 - Ashgabat

Full Day Sightseeing in/around Ashgabat visiting Memorial Complex (Monument for victims of the earthquake, Monument for victims of patriotic wars, Monument for victims of II World War); Turkmenbashy Ruhy Mosque: largest mosque in Central Asia (enter), Old Nissa Historical Reserve (UNESCO) (enter). Lunch at local restaurant (optional). After lunch proceed with sightseeing in Ashgabat visiting National Museum of History (optional paying 20USD entry fees), Monument of Independence (photo stop), Arch of Neutrality (photo stop), Monument of Constitution & Unity (photo stop), Alem Culture & Entertaining Center which is the largest indoor Ferris wheel (photo stop). Day 10 - Ashgabat – Kunya – Urgench – Dashoguz - Khiva
Time Program 05:00Early breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Ashgabat Airport for flight to Dashoguz by T5-101 (06.30-07.20). Upon arrival drive ~2 hours to have sightseeing of Koneurgench Historical Reserve (UNESCO) visiting Torebeg Hanum Mausoleum (XIVAD), Gutlug Timur Minaret (XIVAD), Mausoleum of Soltan Tekesh (XIIAD), Mausoleum of Il Arslan (XII). After excursion drive back to Dashoguz. Lunch at local restaurant (optional). after lunch break transfer ~20 min to Dashoguz Border Pass. Cross into Uzbekistan towards Khiva/Urgench at ~15.00. Meeting at Uzbekistan border. Transfer to Hotel, rest. Dinner at restaurant. -
Day 11 - Khiva - Urgench Tashkent
Time Program 08:00Breakfast at hotel. 09:00Full day city tour of Khiva. Visit to the oldest part of the city - Kunya-Ark fortress, including Kurinish Khana (17c); Mohammed-Amin-Khan(19c) Madrassah, Islam Khodja Minaret; Palvan-Kari complex, Abd Al Bobo complex(18c), Rafanek Madrassah, Mohammed Rakim Khan Madrasah(19 c), Amir-Tur Madrassah, Sho-I-Kalandar Bobo Mausoleum 14:00Lunch at national house. Getting aquanted with uzbek family and tasting Uzbek dishes. Continuing city tour: Mazary Sharif Madrassah, Kheivak well (10c), Uch Avlioli («three saints») Mausoleum, Jami Mosque(18c), Kutluq-Murad Inaq (19c) Madrassah, Pakhlavan Mahmoud Mausoleum, Tash Havli Palace and Harem. Day 12 - Tashkent - Almaty
Time Program 07:00Breakfast at hotel 08:00Transfer to the Airport for the flight to 10:00Almaty at 08:25. Arrival to Almaty at 10:55. Upon arrival transfer to Almaty city for breakfast. After breakfast city tour. You will know more about history and development of the southern capital of Kazakhstan and see its major attractions: Palace of President, Republic Square and Monument of Independence, Abai Square and Palace of Republic, Presidential Park. Also, visit Historical Museum (closed on Tuesday) Check in to hotel at 14-00 PM Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, Visit Panfilov’s Park with Great Patriotic War Memorial and Zenkov’s Orthodox Cathedral. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel in Almaty city. -
Day 13 - Almaty city – Charyn canyons – Almaty city
Time Program 08:00Breakfast at hotel. Almaty city Free day (no transport, no guide). Optionally: After breakfast drive to Charyn Canyon (200 km) to get very nice hiking opportunity. Arrival to Charyn Canyon. Walk up and down along the unique canyon and see some pictures created by nature. Lunch picnic. After lunch drive back to Almaty. -
Day 14 - Almaty city – Issyk gorge – Almaty city
Time Program 08:00Breakfast at hotel. 09:00In the morning drive to Issyk Gorge. On the way you will visit the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “ISSYK”, where you will see the expositions dedicated to the history and culture of the Saka period, including a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Saka burial mound. Then the tour route will take you to an altitude of 1756 meters above sea level, to the beautiful mountain lake Issyk, located in the valley with the same name. On the lake you will enjoy the majestic beauty of its turquoise water surface and the Issyk Gorge. Also at the lake you will have a picnic and free time for recreation at nature. Drive back to Almaty city. Dinner in a local café. Overnight in a hotel. -
Day 15 - Almaty – Bishkek
Time Program 08:00After breakfast in the morning, transfer to Bishkek city (230 km till the border). Crossing Kazakh – Kyrgyz border takes about an hour. Our guide helps you with the customs formalities. Upon arrival lunch in a local café. After lunch start sightseeing tour in the city. Visit Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people. Then excursion to the Frunze Museum and walking tour around main Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, Independence Monument, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House and the only survived in Central Asia Lenin’s Monument. Transfer to the Victory Square to finish the city tour by short excursion there. After excursion, accommodation in a local hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight. -
Day 16 - Bishkek city – Burana Tower – Issyk Kul Lake
Time Program 08:00After Breakfast drive to Issyk Kul Lake. On the way visit Burana Tower, which is in 10 km from Tokmok town. That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town, one of the capitals of Karakhanid State existed in 12 centuries AD. Explore ruins of that important trading point at the Great Silk Road and visit a little local museum telling about that civilization. After exursion drive to Tokmok, to have a lunch in Hawaii café. Further, continue drive to Issyk Kul Lake. Upon arrival accommodation in a hotel. Dinner and overnight. -
Day 17 - Issyk Kul Lake – Bishkek
Time Program 08:00Breakfast in a hotel. After check-out transfer to boat club for cruise at Issyk Kul lake. Lunch in a local café and transfer to Bishkek city. On the way visit the Open air Petroglyphs Museum. Petroglyphs are dated back Sak-Usun period from 9-8 century up to 3-5 century AD. The territory where Petroglyphs are found lying below the Kungey Alatoo Mountains with a beautiful view of the lake. Continue drive to Bishkek city. Upon arrival, accomodation in a hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant. -
Day 18 - Bishkek – Ala Archa National Park – Bishkek
Time Program 08:00After breakfast, drive around 40 km out of Bishkek to Ala Archa National Park. It is popular place for picnics, hikes, rock climbing and alpinism. There are 20 glaciers in the territory of the park. The total area of the park is 200 km2. You can go for a walk on the paved road along the river or hike up to the mountains to get a spectacular view of the gorge. Lunch – picnic. Heading back to Bishkek. Dinner in a local restaurant. Folklore show. Overnight in a hotel. -
