What a lovely surprise to get your email & I thank you for your kind words. I also enjoyed the tour and without you to boost me along when the demands of the group got me down, I know it would have been quite different - definitely not as fun. I think we make a great team. I'll miss your company and I really appreciate the friendship we have made over the time we have worked together.

I managed a couple of hours sleep at Seoul airport, again on the plane to Auckland and after a solid sleep (nearly 10 hours) in my own bed I woke this morning feeling fully refreshed.

Here is the debrief on our tour of Uzbekistan. Sorry it is a bit late , but coming back home after 30 days there were a lot of chores to catch up with.

1. The first point is the preparatory work which went into the tour done by you is to be greatly commended. Your planning and details were excellent. Furthermore , you incorporated each and every change or recommendation that I asked for. I had absolutely no problem with the visa for Uzbekistan because of the Invitation letter. Finally, the tour programme was eventually as practically conducted. Excellent work !! I must also commend you on your very prompt replies to all my queries.

2. Our tour guide, Dilya, was simply superb. I can't find the words to praise her and describe how efficient, punctual, honest and friendly she was . Eventually, both Tahseen and I considered her to be family. That is the biggest tribute I can give her.
Every request we made was met with a smiling face and accomplished efficiently. Also, she described all visits we made in detail and her knowledge of the history of events and locations is to be commended. I have to mention that all her selections for our lunches and dinners was also superb. I think I can summarize by saying that our tour was a resounding success because of Dilya

3. Our driver, Ahmed, was also excellent. Very, very polite and humble, Ahmed was always punctual and very friendly and helpful

Both Dilya and Ahmed made our tour so very pleasant and enjoyable.

I would like you to make a special mention of them to your partners in this tour of ours .Also, the manager of Roxana Tours was at the hotel n Tashkent on our arrival to receive us, and then once again he spoke to me on the phone to find out how we were doing. All this has to be commended.

4. All our visit programmes (which you so meticulously planned ) were excellent and worth visiting. All Hotels at Tashkent, Khiva and Bukhara were good ---and I think the best in the cities. However, the Samarkand Hotel was disappointing. First, it was split in two, our rooms being across the road. To use the Spa or the pool we had to walk across the main road which was not good. Furthermore, the breakfast at this hotel was pathetic----really bad for a 4 star hotel. Also they had no ironing board or iron to give us for use in the room--unlike all hotels where this is a normal feature.

5. Finally, no fault of yours or of Dilya's (or Ahmed, our driver) the roads between Khiva and Bukhara, and then again between Bukhara and Samarkan were horrible. All broken up and very , very bumpy. Thankfully, our vehicle was very comfortable.

All in all, our tour of Uzbekistan was a real delight and a pleasure.

To all of you: I am so happy for everything you did. Excellent services.
I consider returning next autumn and woukld then like to include some of the historical palces in Turkmenistan and nordth-west Iran (visit old places).

Cydny and I really enjoyed our recent trip to your beautiful country.  This was the sort of trip where one would expect some glitches along the way but thanks to your amazing efforts on our behalf everything went along like clockwork.  You are really good at what you do because you really care about your clients.  Working with a true professional is very comforting to someone from 12 time zones way and I would be happy to recommend your services to anyone.  Also, when we came back into Uzbekistan there was a framed print of the 3 old men with white mustaches on the wall where we picked up our luggage.  Do you have any idea where I could get one of those prints (unframed)?

Hi Nellya,

It took some time to write to you about our holiday to your nice country but when we organized the many pictures we took I felt that I should write to you now.

First of all we would like to thank you for the well organized holiday. Everything worked fine and we enjoyed what your country has to offer very much. All the guides we had were very good, especially I want to mention Ilkhom, Swetlana and Kamoloddin. 

Our special thank you goes however to your driver Nosir. We spend many days together and had good times and although we had at times problems with communication he always knew what we wanted and made us feel comfortable in the car and during dinner times etc. We do hope that he has fully recovered from his painful swollen arm.

We arrived back in Australia safely. We wish to thank for arranging a most enjoyable tour. We shall never forget the experience.

The tour exceeded our expectations. Our previous time with Roxanan Tours was excellent and we were so pleased that we decided to travel with your company again. We will be recommending your company and your tours to our friends here in Australia,

Once again we would like  to thank you for arranging the upgrade in accommodation in Baku. The Hotel Diplomat in Baku certainly was substandard in many ways. I can give you the details should you request them. We did not expect to be upgraded to the Hyatt Regency Hotel but is was much appreciated. It was a great start to our tour. I would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling from Australia and I am certain that they would not mind paying for the better accommodation.
The rest of the hotels were comfortable and we were happy with them and we were prepared to make allowances for those in the smaller country towns. Some tea and coffee waking facilities and coffee and tea and milk in the rooms would helped a lot.

All of our guides were friendly and knowledgably and we had a good rapport with the drivers.
