How are you? It's been a long, but I was a little busy (just getting married :)
Thanks a lot for the best welcome to Uzbekistan! It was so great, I felt like going to visit country that i already been to. You defenatly have the best guides: they opened doors to the history and the present times of Uzbekistan from the broad and personal view. Thank you for being so flexible with the changes in itinerary and fixing visa so effective!
P.S. By the way we are moving to Kuwait :)

Dear Rakhmatjon and everybody in Roxana Tour,
Thank You so much for all your efforts on our behalf.
Thank You for all your time at the Tadjikistan Embassy!
Thank You for The Sultans' Hats at the end of the tour.
Thank You for the quality of all the restaurants and quality of the food.
But Mostly, Thank You for employing Davlatsho as our guide.
We have had many guides in the course of our world travels, but never ever one any better than day.
He worked tirelessly for us night and day. His efforts for us were far beyond what would have been "good".
Enthusiastically I recommend him for further employment with even the most demanding of clients.

Dear Roxana Tours,
I've been back in England for 4 weeks so I apologize for not emailing sooner to say I think Roxana Tours are amazing! What a fantastic tour you organized for the New Zealand operators it was simply breathtaking. The guides you supplied were just astonishing in their knowledge, English, enthusiasm the way they held our interest. Although they all had their very special way of delivering their experience they were all just fantastic. I have to single out one guide who was simply amazing and that was Temur he was simply fabulous. Khiva was made to come alive under his narrative and knowledge he clearly loves the city and this was portrayed to all of us during his day with our group.
The wonderful places you arranged for us to visit Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand Tashkent to name but 4 must all be revisited. Their colors, architecture, history and charm will remain with me forever. So much so I have every intention of revisiting Uzbekistan again in the near future hopefully spending more time in the Fergana Valley with another visit to Kyrgyzstan plus another Stan
My thanks must also go to Jon without whom the tour would not have been complete. His patience is to be greatly admired as is his expertise in dealing with a group of people or varying ages, health and stamina and demands. We went to the most fabulous places, passed through spectacular countryside and ate excellent food all with him to ease our passage, organize flights, buses, taxis and even camels! The hotels were far better than I imagined they would be as was the wine! Our night in the yurt was a very special experience which was certainly enjoyed by the 4 of us 2 Raewyns,1 Daisy and a Baeuxie
Thank you Jon and Roxana Tours, I will be back in touch
With kind regards,
Our trip was beautiful! Guides in towns were very good, your country has interesting history and architecture. Very good was hotel in Bukhara "Amulet Hotel" . Your had formed excellent route, we had visited a lot of places, thanks! Thanks for presents, we were very surprised!
We are home safe and well. We had a really good time in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kashgar. All guides, drivers, accommodation and food and the were very good and we had plenty of positive experiences. The program worked well and we are your happy customers.
There is one exception to this. The transport company in Kashgar made a strange decision , putting us on a bus to Torgaart, presumably because they had to pick up a group of travelers there. However, the car we had used in Kashgar was also travelling there, but empty. Our guide (Sadik) was very embarrassed by this and we were somewhat baffled. naturally, the bus trip was less comfortable and took longer. We accommodated at the Yambu hotel instead of the International, but am not sure if that made a difference. However, we were very happy with Sadik.
Let me repeat though, that overall we were very happy with your organization and we will definitely recommend you to our friends.
Thanks again for managing our trip for us.

We got back to London last Thursday. The two-week journey through Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was absolutely fabulous.
You did a truly remarkable job organizing it. Everything went absolutely perfectly, from the moment we landed in Tashkent to our departure from Bishkek. The whole program was simply brilliant.
Thank you very much for making it happen; it was absolutely delightful.
The guides in Uzbekistan were remarkably good. In particular, we want to thank Denis and Dilya who were very knowledgeable and kind, and made us feel at home. More than them, our driver Nasir was exceptionally good, taking care of everything, and doing a truly great job. Tell him of our greatest regards for everything that he did on the days he spent with us. Nasir, Denis and Dilya (and Julia and Annapasha) all made this a journey that we shall remember for a long time to come.
In Kyrgyzstan, we had Olga (the guide) and Ivan (as our driver) for all the five days. These two wonderful people made the journey through Kyrgyzstan a treat that shall be part of our life in years to come. They went to lot more than being a guide and driver, they became truly wonderful friends. We enjoyed their company, their insights on Kyrgyz life, and their enthusiasm for the work. Please convey our best regards to Olga and Ivan.
Finally, thank you very much again for the gifts. We went out to a party at the weekend wearing the hats you gave and it created great mirth. (On Sunday we attended another naturist party in London where friends persuaded us to put on the hats again – so we ended up wearing the hats, with very little else!) The fridge magnets with our pictures are on the fridge and the freezer. Olga and Ivan even organized a champagne party on a hilltop in Kyrgyzstan.
Thanks again for everything, and for making it a delightful experience. I shall send you a photo collage of us.

Good morning Nellya.
Already in our country, after an unforgettable trip, in which we have felt well attended and that has filled all our expectations, it only remains to thank and congratulate Roxana Tour and all its staff.
Our thanks and satisfaction would like you to arrive at the Roxana Tour Directorate, for the great team of professionals who have attended us and with special mention to your person, Nellya, of which we will always keep a pleasant memory and as a unique professional.

Got a nice letter from Alastair ...he said."… And then there was Otabek. As you said at the time, he was just the greatest but, of course, it wasn't just him. The way in which you and he worked to bring it all together in such an apparently effortless and good-humoured way belied all the hard work and thought that went into it and made it the memorable experience it was"
It was great working with you again and as you said next time we can visit some of your favorite night clubs!

Hello, hello dear friend!
What a lovely surprise to get your email & I thank you for your kind words. I also enjoyed the tour and without you to boost me along when the demands of the group got me down, I know it would have been quite different - definitely not as fun. I think we make a great team. I'll miss your company and I really appreciate the friendship we have made over the time we have worked together.
I managed a couple of hours sleep at Seoul airport, again on the plane to Auckland and after a solid sleep (nearly 10 hours) in my own bed I woke this morning feeling fully refreshed.
Dear Maria, Good day!
Here is the debrief on our tour of Uzbekistan. Sorry it is a bit late , but coming back home after 30 days there were a lot of chores to catch up with.
1. The first point is the preparatory work which went into the tour done by you is to be greatly commended. Your planning and details were excellent. Furthermore , you incorporated each and every change or recommendation that I asked for. I had absolutely no problem with the visa for Uzbekistan because of the Invitation letter. Finally, the tour programme was eventually as practically conducted. Excellent work !! I must also commend you on your very prompt replies to all my queries.
2. Our tour guide, Dilya, was simply superb. I can't find the words to praise her and describe how efficient, punctual, honest and friendly she was . Eventually, both Tahseen and I considered her to be family. That is the biggest tribute I can give her.
Every request we made was met with a smiling face and accomplished efficiently. Also, she described all visits we made in detail and her knowledge of the history of events and locations is to be commended. I have to mention that all her selections for our lunches and dinners was also superb. I think I can summarize by saying that our tour was a resounding success because of Dilya
3. Our driver, Ahmed, was also excellent. Very, very polite and humble, Ahmed was always punctual and very friendly and helpful
Both Dilya and Ahmed made our tour so very pleasant and enjoyable.
I would like you to make a special mention of them to your partners in this tour of ours .Also, the manager of Roxana Tours was at the hotel n Tashkent on our arrival to receive us, and then once again he spoke to me on the phone to find out how we were doing. All this has to be commended.
4. All our visit programmes (which you so meticulously planned ) were excellent and worth visiting. All Hotels at Tashkent, Khiva and Bukhara were good ---and I think the best in the cities. However, the Samarkand Hotel was disappointing. First, it was split in two, our rooms being across the road. To use the Spa or the pool we had to walk across the main road which was not good. Furthermore, the breakfast at this hotel was pathetic----really bad for a 4 star hotel. Also they had no ironing board or iron to give us for use in the room--unlike all hotels where this is a normal feature.
5. Finally, no fault of yours or of Dilya's (or Ahmed, our driver) the roads between Khiva and Bukhara, and then again between Bukhara and Samarkan were horrible. All broken up and very , very bumpy. Thankfully, our vehicle was very comfortable.
All in all, our tour of Uzbekistan was a real delight and a pleasure.
Thank you for all the organisation and planning. Continue the excellent work for our next tour: "Gems of Asia "
