Dear Roxana Tours,

I've been back in England for 4 weeks so I apologize for not emailing sooner to say I think Roxana Tours are amazing! What a fantastic tour you organized for the New Zealand operators it was simply breathtaking. The guides you supplied were just astonishing in their knowledge, English, enthusiasm the way they held our interest. Although they all had their very special way of delivering their experience they were all just fantastic. I have to single out one guide who was simply amazing and that was Temur he was simply fabulous. Khiva was made to come alive under his narrative and knowledge he clearly loves the city and this was portrayed to all of us during his day with our group. 

The wonderful places you arranged for us to visit Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand Tashkent to name but 4 must all be revisited. Their colors, architecture, history and charm will remain with me forever. So much so I have every intention of revisiting Uzbekistan again in the near future hopefully spending more time in the Fergana Valley with another visit to Kyrgyzstan plus another Stan 

My thanks must also go to Jon without whom the tour would not have been complete. His patience is to be greatly admired as is his expertise in dealing with a group of people or varying ages, health and stamina and demands. We went to the most fabulous places, passed through spectacular countryside and ate excellent food all with him to ease our passage, organize flights, buses, taxis and even camels! The hotels were far better than I imagined they would be as was the wine! Our night in the yurt was a very special experience which was certainly enjoyed by the 4 of us 2 Raewyns,1 Daisy and a Baeuxie

Our trip was beautiful! Guides in towns were very good, your country has interesting history and architecture. Very good was hotel in Bukhara "Amulet Hotel" . Your had formed excellent route, we had visited a lot of places, thanks! Thanks for presents, we were very surprised!

We are home safe and well. We had a really good time in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kashgar. All guides, drivers, accommodation and food and the were very good and we had plenty of positive experiences. The program worked well and we are your happy customers.

There is one exception to this. The transport company in Kashgar made a strange decision , putting us on a bus to Torgaart, presumably because they had to pick up a group of travelers there. However, the car we had used in Kashgar was also travelling there, but empty. Our guide (Sadik) was very embarrassed by this and we were somewhat baffled. naturally, the bus trip was less comfortable and took longer. We accommodated at the Yambu hotel instead of the International, but am not sure if that made a difference. However, we were very happy with Sadik.

Let me repeat though, that overall we were very happy with your organization and we will definitely recommend you to our friends.

Dear Nellya,

We got back to London last Thursday. The two-week journey through Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was absolutely fabulous.
You did a truly remarkable job organizing it. Everything went absolutely perfectly, from the moment we landed in Tashkent to our departure from Bishkek. The whole program was simply brilliant.

Thank you very much for making it happen; it was absolutely delightful.

The guides in Uzbekistan were remarkably good. In particular, we want to thank Denis and Dilya who were very knowledgeable and kind, and made us feel at home. More than them, our driver Nasir was exceptionally good, taking care of everything, and doing a truly great job. Tell him of our greatest regards for everything that he did on the days he spent with us. Nasir, Denis and Dilya (and Julia and Annapasha) all made this a journey that we shall remember for a long time to come.

In Kyrgyzstan, we had Olga (the guide) and Ivan (as our driver) for all the five days. These two wonderful people made the journey through Kyrgyzstan a treat that shall be part of our life in years to come. They went to lot more than being a guide and driver, they became truly wonderful friends. We enjoyed their company, their insights on Kyrgyz life, and their enthusiasm for the work. Please convey our best regards to Olga and Ivan.

Finally, thank you very much again for the gifts. We went out to a party at the weekend wearing the hats you gave and it created great mirth. (On Sunday we attended another naturist party in London where friends persuaded us to put on the hats again – so we ended up wearing the hats, with very little else!) The fridge magnets with our pictures are on the fridge and the freezer. Olga and Ivan even organized a champagne party on a hilltop in Kyrgyzstan.

Thanks again for everything, and for making it a delightful experience. I shall send you a photo collage of us.
