Uzbekistan Visa
Getting a Visa Application Form to Travel into Uzbekistan
Whether you are traveling to Uzbekistan for business or personal reasons, you need to have an Uzbekistan Visa to allow entry. While some people prefer to go independently and approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs themselves, others prefer to go through an agency. The latter method is more preferable because all the visa support formalities are handled by the agency.
Application Process
Irrespective of whether you are approaching the Ministry of Foreign Affairs independently or going through an agency, you need to furnish certain details such as complete name, address, gender. You also need to provide your employment information such as company name, location and your occupation in the company. You should provide details as to the duration of your intended stay in Uzbekistan as well as all pertinent passport details such as expiry date, passport number and date of passport issue. These details are vital to process any visa application form for Uzbekistan. You should also ensure to provide information on the location of the Uzbek consulate from where you made the application. It is always a better idea to furnish such details to the same agency that handles your Uzbekistan travel and tours because they can get the job done faster.
Processing Formalities
After the agency receives all this information furnished by you, they will send your visa application form and associated details to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Within 10 days, the ministry will approve the application and will issue what is called a reference number. These details along with the form are sent to the same Uzbek consulate where you obtained the application form. After this, the Uzbek tours agency sends you a letter of invitation, duly approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a copy of tourist voucher and the reference number that was issued by the ministry. All these details need to be presented to the consulate of Uzbekistan.
Letter of Invitation Critical
To get an Uzbekistan visa, you need an approved and signed letter of invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Uzbekistan. This letter is proof that you are authorized to stay and travel in Uzbekistan and only when this letter is furnished to the Uzbek consulate, will you receive your Uzbek visa. This is where the visa support from an agency helps tremendously in expediting the process. Since the agency is specialized in Uzbekistan tours, they also have connections and partnerships with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hence, they are able to get the job done faster when it comes to obtaining an Uzbekistan visa.
