Your prompt responses during the inquiry phase, the excellent program offer you made to us, and last but not least the competitive rates and smooth financial handling made us feel confident about the trip. In fact, we were secretly expecting a royal treatment, and that is exactly what we got! Of course the many wonders of Uzbekistan - the Kalon ensemble, the Registan, the Bibi Khanoum and all the other beautiful mosques, medresses, minarets and mausoleums - are just there to be discovered and admired. By way of very good local guides Roxana added a context that brought the past to life, and scheduled the sight-seeing in such a way that body and mind also found the rest necessary to digest all this beauty. The small private hotels you had chosen - some of which in beautifully restored old villas - added much to the Central Asia experience and offered high quality services. A special thank you for accompanying us to many shows and dinners, which kept us from getting bored one single minute. And a recommendation for those who want to come to Uzbekistan and trust themselves to the reliable hands of Roxana: do see the classical attractions, but also consider to include the Fergana valley. We were very impressed, not only by the scenery, but also by the visits we made to the silk factory and a ceramic workshop. The latter were absolute high lights of our journey and provided great shopping opportunities!

I was recently on a 3 week tour of Central Asia with Eco-Expeditions, an American tour group. Although all 5 of the "stans" were great, my favorite was definitely Uzbekistan. And one of the major reasons for this was the use of Roxana Tours as the agent in that country. Uzbekistan is so culturally rich, but to appreciate it, one needs great guides who can speak the language of the tour group. Roxana Tours provided this in all of the cities that we visited. The guides were erudite, up on the history, and spoke loudly and clearly.

But most importantly, our tour leader in country, Jon, worked tirelessly to provide a great experience, not only for me, but for everyone in the group. He made everyone feel important and that no request or need was beyond their capability in providing.      I appreciate Roxana Tour for safe, comfortable and beautiful trip. I visited Bukhara and Samarkand alone. Before I came there, I was really anxious because I could not speak Russian or Uzbek. But Roxana Tour prepared good guides and drivers for me and I did not worry or have any trouble, and I could have good time.

In Bukhara, my guide was expert. She showed me not only beautiful old city, Bukhara, but also the lives in Bukhara. I heard beautiful prayer, enjoyed Hammam, and on free time read next to Uzbek children around Lyab-i-Hauz.

In Samarkand, both of I and my guide are university students and we enjoyed talking about school lives in Japan and Uzbekistan. After the city tour, Roxana Tour arranged a traditional Uzbek concert and I joined wedding dance. It was fun and precious experience to dance in Registan, World Heritage Site.

Thank for Roxana Tour, I could enjoy my trip and get relaxed. I still remember breath-taking beautiful decorations of mosques and madrassahs, comfortable wind and warm smiles in Uzbekistan.
